Resumen

La violencia en el noviazgo adolescente es un problema preocupante que afecta la salud mental y emocional de los jóvenes. Este estudio investigó la relación entre la autoestima, las estrategias de afrontamiento y la violencia en el noviazgo en una muestra de adolescentes. Se utilizaron el Test de CUVINO, la Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg y un Cuestionario de Estrategias de Afrontamiento para evaluar estas variables. Los resultados mostraron que la autoestima no se relaciona significativamente con la violencia en el noviazgo, pero sí se observaron correlaciones entre diferentes estrategias de afrontamiento. El análisis de clúster identificó dos grupos: uno con alta autoestima y baja violencia, y otro con baja autoestima y mayor violencia. Los hallazgos sugieren que la intervención en autoestima y estrategias de afrontamiento podría ser clave en la prevención de la violencia en el noviazgo adolescente.
